I have been weight lifting and taking whey protein supplement on the day I workout, but the rest of the week I have 2-3 glasses of milk with meals or snacks. Is that enough to build muscle and weight?

im going to go to my first real eye exam soon to get glasses, im just wondering when they tell me what kind of glasses prescription i need, will i be able to glasses on that day or will i most likely have to wait for them to make the glasses?
